| Lakewood Christian Centre has served the Montgomery area for more than 50 years. In 1991 the present location was purchased and the church (formally known as Calvary) moved to the East Montgomery area. For the last fifteen years, Lakewood has reach numerous families, touching lives not just in Alabama, but also around the world through missions trips. Here at Lakewood we are mission minded. We believe in the great commission that Jesus gave His disciples: Matt 28:19-20 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
