| Kids. Ya gotta love em. For the most part they will always tell you the truth = NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL IT IS! They are unlike adults in so many ways. They are eager to learn, quick to engage in activity, and usually possess greater faith than most adults. Jesus put it best when He said "Unless you become as a child you will in no wise enter into the Kingdom". The honest truth is - Children are the future of the Church! At Lakewood we understand that there are many things a child needs to learn to become an asset to the Church. Our goal is to teach those things to them in ways that they can understand. Lakewood has the puppets, the songs, the lights, the skits, but we realize that training a child is more than puppets, songs, and lights. It is giving them the guidance to "Grow in Wisdom, Stature, and in favor with God and man". Come be a part of this growing and exciting ministry! |
